- This tutorial is based on the size of the stones that I am using (14 mm Width x 19 mm Height), the wire lengths will change based on the stone size.
- You need a basic understanding of wire wrapping and weaving and should be able to hand form curves and shapes.
- The size of the final pendant created in this tutorial is 2 ¾” in Height x 1 ½” Width
Materials:
Wires:
1. 45 inches or 115 centimeters of 21 gauge solid square half-hard copper wire, cut into the following pieces:
2. 14 inches or 36 centimeters of 18 gauge solid half-round dead soft copper wire, cut into the following pieces:
Cabochon stone :
Oval shape cabochon with flat back: 14 mm Width x 19 mm Height ( Stone thickness is 5mm)
The stone used in this tutorial is a Smoky Quartz in the above shape and size
Copper Beads:
4 mm – 1 bead
(you can definitely use any beads of your choice)
